Who said that only hunting breeds of dogs are able to hunt? Who decides that dog can or can’t go hunt? Who decided that boxers are not hunters? Our dogs proved that every real boxer is hunter!!! Somebody is professional, somebody – amateur. My boxer Varvara is real professional. She can hunt on ducks, hares, and elk. She’s ten years old now and last year she has left on pension. But she can’t forget her youth hobby. As soon as her owners are going for hunting, she starts to worry. All her body strains. She’s fool of strength and energy, she’s very active. She observes all events in the house with experienced view. Attentively she observes how products are being collected. Clothes are put into backpacks. As soon as the weapon is gotten from the safe, she is already sitting at an entrance door. She shows availability for hunting service. And how many sadness is in her eyes when with owners leave her at home. And only good walk and any entertainment can console Varvara. And Kira, the Varvaras daughter, now is hunter-amateur. She likes trophies. Especially tasty trophies. She likes to extract them from a backpack of owners. And she likes to divide trophies on her own way. She applies itself not for all pieces. She let hunters to take some pieces. We think that she will be very good hunter. Many of our boxers were good hunters. They were universal hunting dogs: they could hunt on deer and birds. In the same time they remain dogs – partners in the home. Experience of hunting does not make them aggressive. They understand that it is necessary to work only on hunting. On picnic they are “hunting on sausages”. They do not go far from camp. Ball is the best animal for them on picnic. It is possible to hunt on him flight. It is possible to do it together with people. And it is possible to rescue a ball from people. If they are kicking it by legs …
